Scholarship Opportunities at OLPH School

  •  Marion Burk Knott Scholarship - Catholic students in Grades 4 and 8 may apply for this scholarship, based on report card grades and Archdiocesan standardized test scores.

  • Michele Keeney and Caroline Herrmann Scholarship - The Student Council sponsors this scholarship, in memory of these graduates. This $500 scholarship, awarded to a seventh grader toward his/her eighth grade tuition, is based on a written, judged essay. 

  • The Ben Carson Scholars Fund  - aims to recognize and reward an 8th grader at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School who earns the highest level of academic achievement and also displays strong humanitarian qualities.  Winners are designated "Carson Scholars" and receive $1,000 scholarship awards that are invested for college.

  • Barb Coakely Award - was instituted in 2002 to honor Mrs. Coakley, a former principal of Our Lady of Perpetual Help School.  This award is given to a graduating student who displays the characteristics of kindness, generosity of spirit and dedication to OLPH School.  The award includes a monetary sum and the student has his/her name engraved on a plaque which is displayed in the main school hall.  This award is voted on by the faculty and staff and is announced at graduation.

  • Christopher Sliker Prayer Scholarship - "When God hears you pray, He does everything He can to make you feel better."  Inspired by the words of Christopher, the Sliker family offers the opportunity for sixth graders at OLPH School to express the importance of prayer to their Catholic life.  Students are asked to reflect upon questions and share how they have been committed to prayer and what a prayerful life means to them.  The winner of the essay contest is awarded $2500 towards tuition for their seventh grade year at OLPH School.
