Our Principal
OLPH School Principal, Mrs. Rose Goeres
Mrs. Goeres holds a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Washington State University, a Bachelors degree in Education with a double major in Psychology and Elementary Education from Western Washington University and an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Skagit Valley College. She holds both teaching and administrator credentials from Washington State. Additionally, she holds catechist certification from the Archdiocese of Seattle.
Rose brings to Our Lady of Perpetual Help School a variety of areas of experience and expertise. She has taught both in a Catholic school and public schools in grades preK-8 in the classroom, as a Reading Specialist, and as specialist for the Gifted and Talented. She has 10 years of administrative experience both public and Catholic including an Assistant Principal, a Grants Coordinator for Federal and State grants, a Program Director, a Grant Writer, and Principal of a Catholic school in Bellingham, WA.
She has served in leadership roles on an Accreditation Team, on the Executive Principal’s Committee, and as Dean of the Northern/Snohomish Principal’s Deanery in the Archdiocese of Seattle. She served on the regional Educational Service District #112 Accreditation Team and School Improvement Team.
Additionally, she was on the Educational Audit Team for the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction in Washington state.
