Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion

Students in second grade prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation during the fall and the Sacrament of First Holy Communion during the spring.  All classwork in preparation for these sacraments is completed at school.  The students are required to attend some evening/weekend meetings prior to the sacraments. 

Sacrament of Confirmation

Students in eighth grade prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation all year long.  The students are required to attend evening classes offered by the parish Catholic Formation Ministry, as well as an overnight retreat, prior to receiving the sacrament in the spring.

Non-Catholic students participate in sacramental preparation along with their classmates.  Although they do not take part in the sacrament itself, they are encouraged to attend  services as their fellow students receive their sacraments as part of the community celebration.
