School Board
The School Board is an advisory board to aid the Pastor and Principal in the administration of the school. Our membership includes the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Principal, Pastor, Faculty and HSA Representatives, and seven members selected from school families and the community at large. The current Board members elect new members to the Board for a three-year term. Board members can be elected for a second 3-year term, with total time on the Board not to exceed six consecutive years.
The Board's duties that are specifically outlined by the Archdiocese include:
- Advising the administration
- Preparing the annual budget
- Monitoring the ongoing financial situation of the school
- Overseeing the fundraising for the school
- Promoting public relations and alumni communications
- Promoting future development of the school
Parents may attend open meetings, which are held the second Tuesday of the month in the Blessed Junipero Serra Room of the Parish Center.
