February 25 - The big It's Academic Middle School competition at Resurrection.  There will be 24 students competing at this competition.
March 24 - IND Scholympics for 7th grade girls.  There will be three teams of nine girls competing.
March 24 - Baltimore Science Fair.  Three eighth graders have entered projects for the Science Fair.
March 31 - Calvert Hall Academic Tournament for 7th grade boys.  There will be two teams of six boys competing.
April 20 - OLPH is excited to be chosen to have Nifty Fifty speaker, Dr. Marnie Halpren, join us at OLPH.  Nifty Fifty is a component of the USA Science and Engineering Festival that will be taking place April 28-29th at the Washington Convention Center.  During her day with the school on April 20th, Dr. Halpern will share with students her love of research and how she is using tiny zebrafish to study brain and nervous system development.
April 27 - 7th grade was awarded a transportation grant to the U.S. Science and Engineering Fair at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center.  We are excited to attend!
