About Mrs. Errera

I have been teaching Kindergarteners for past 23 years, the last fifteen have been at OLPH. I received my Bachelor's Degree at Montclair State University and my Early Childhood Education Certification from The College of Notre Dame of Maryland. I am certified as an Advanced Catechist through The Diocese of Baltimore. My husband Tony and I have been married for 31 years and have three sons, ages 28, 26, and 25. We belong to The Church of the Resurrection, where I am active in a variety of ministries.

Kindergarteners are wonderful to teach because they are full of awe and wonder and eager to learn. It is particularly gratifying to witness the tremendous overall growth of a Kindergarten child from August to the following June- academically, spiritually, socially, and physically. I believe in teaching the whole child. Children have different learning styles and needs, and as such, I strive to make learning fun and multi-sensory. I believe that teaching is a ministry, not just a job. I choose to teach at a Catholic School because my faith is very important to me and I wish to share it with my students and colleagues in our community. My family have all been "products" of Catholic School education - what a wonderful foundation in Faith, values, academics, and home/school partnership it provides!
